David brings a unique perspective to tech hiring.
Having worked as an investor, founder and operator in the technology industry for over a decade, he understands first-hand what it takes to identify, hire and retain exceptional talent.

Before launching Oakhill Ventures, David worked at AXA Venture Partners, supporting late-stage technology companies across Europe, the US and Israel through $50m+ Series C and pre-IPO funding rounds. He partnered with C-suite executives on key strategic decisions, including hiring and team building across engineering, GTM and finance.

As a founder, David has built AI startups from the ground up and interviewed more than 1,500 software and machine learning engineers as well as operators. Having scaled recruiting pipelines across more than 10 European markets, he has developed a deep understanding of how to identify and attract truly exceptional talent aligned with a company’s long-term vision and culture.

This blend of investor perspective and hands-on operating experience gives David a unique insight into what outstanding talent looks like - the rare balance of ambition, intellectual rigor and technical depth.
